Crunch and Sip

St Joseph’s is actively involved in the Crunch and Sip program which sees all classes taking a morning break to have a piece of fruit or vegetables and a drink of water.

Extra-Curricular Activities

At St Joseph’s students are also offered a number of extra-curricular activities. On the sporting front the school offers the students to be involved in the following sporting teams:

  • U/10’s and Open Rugby League
  • Rugby Union
  • Netball
  • Basketball

On the cultural side, the school offers

  • Music – this is a user pays program through an outside agent
  • Choirs, Drama Groups, Recorder Group

School Camps – both Years 5 and 6 students are offered the opportuntiy to attend overnight camps during Term 4. Year 5 will attend “Great Aussie Bush Camp” at Karuah while Year 6 will travel to Canberra visiting numerous attractions. Both of these camps provide an excellent opportunity for students to build on friendships and to further develop their leadership qualities.
